On January 10, 2020 The Ivey Academy will be delivering an intensive day of leadership training to support the Ivey Sports Leadership Conference. A student-led initiative, the Ivey Sports Leadership Conference brings together students interested in sports management with industry professionals for a two-day leadership development conference.

Last year’s conference featured a group of high-profile speakers from the sports industry. Guest speakers included Toronto Maple Leafs General Manager Kyle Dubas, Arizona Coyotes General Manager John Chayka, HBA ’14, Laurence Applebaum, HBA ’94, CEO, Golf Canada, and National Hockey League insider Elliotte Friedman. Chayka and Friedman have confirmed their attendance for the 2020 conference along with the addition of reporters David Amber and Christine Simpson.
