Monica Mochoruk

Vice President, Talent Management at Parkland Corporation

Monica has over 20 years of progressive Human Resources, People and Culture experience, and is a passionate leader committed to creating environments where talent thrives.

Her career began in recruitment and evolved into business partnership, learning, development, talent management, culture activation and onward to organizational effectiveness.  Each stop on her career journey has increased in scope, scale and complexity of her role.

After building her core skills, and capabilities in the software development and aviation industries, Monica has successfully led the transformation from transactional HR to People and Culture partnership in the Midstream and now fuel distribution and retail businesses.

In her current role, as VP, Talent Management for Parkland, she leads the Talent Management function, including the D&I portfolio, the Talent Acquisition function and the Business Partner function for the Corporate organization. 

An active member of her community, Monica is currently the Board Chair of Calgary Reads, and Board Member for Big Brothers, Big Sisters Calgary and Area.

 

Rob Blackwell
Rob Blackwell

Chief Operating Officer, Aspen Properties & Managing Partner, Caret Ltd.

Rob Blackwell joined Aspen Properties in 2004 as Leasing Manager of the Calgary office portfolio and has held various roles in the company. In December 2018, Rob became Aspen’s Chief Operating Officer and third partner. Rob is responsible for the daily operations of the company, including the leasing and property management, and property acquisitions. In addition, he oversees the long-term asset management strategy for Aspen, managing mortgage financing, value-add initiatives and capital spending strategies. He is Chair for the Board of Directors of BOMA Calgary, an industry association that promotes the professional standards of commercial building ownership and property management. In early 2021, Rob Co-Founded and became Managing Partner of Caret, a PropTech company focused on improving real estate management through mobile technology for use in the real estate industry. Rob has a BA in Commerce (Finance) from the Haskayne School of Business.

James Elian
James Elian

CEO, Airsprint

James Elian has over 20 years of aviation experience, primarily with AirSprint, Canada’s leader in fractional jet ownership. James is a pilot by profession, and prior to his current role as president and CEO, James held several operational positions including: Vice President of Operations, Director of Flight Operations, Chief Pilot, and Training Captain.

James maintains an airline transport pilot license, holds an MBA from the University of Calgary, a Master of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a diploma in Aviation Technology from Selkirk College. He has been published in an aviation academic research journal and recognized as one of the top 20 under 40 in Canadian aviation.

James is also the past chair of the board of directors of the Canadian Business Aviation Association, past chair of the Alberta chapter of Young Presidents Organization, and is a director with Hope Air.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR GETTING THE CAMPAIGN ID
  1. This can only be retrieved after the campaign has been created in Salesforce.
  2. Go to the Campaigns tab in Salesforce. 
  3. Either using the dropdown filters, or by doing a search from the top search bar, find the campaign you have created for the event. Click on that campaign.
  4. On the Campaign record page, within the URL there is an ID after /r/Campaign/. The ID is made up of numbers and letters (ex. /r/Campaign/7011Y000001mxZYQAY/view)
  5. Copy that ID.
  6. In the default value section of the left hand toolbar, replace the text " CAMPAIGN ID HERE" with the ID you copied from Salesforce.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR GETTING THE FORM ID
  1. After you have renamed this form and saved it as a new version, copy the 7 digit number at the end of the url in your browser and paste it into the default value field for this form. 
  2. Alternatively, you can right click on the little icon in the left hand column of this page that looks like a cloud with an arrow inside and open that in a new tab. In the top section of the page that opens, there will be the public link to the form which will have the 7 digit number you need to use at the end of that link. 
  3. This is also the number you will use to paste into Umbraco for the iveyacademy.ca website to be able to link to the proper form for registrants to access.
