Catharine Larkin

Catharine has worked globally, across all industry sectors as an executive coach and trusted advisor for over 25 years. Leveraging her experience and insights, she examines the link between the organization and the individual, and works with her clients to customize an approach to ensure they are successful through aligning their attitudes, behaviours, and leadership to the current and emerging needs of the organization. 

Recognized for her profound insight into human behaviour, business acumen, and a unique blend of straight speak and deep empathy, Catharine is sought after to work with senior leaders and teams on issues ranging from interpersonal dynamics, professional development, to role transition and succession planning.

Prior to launching LARCO Executive Coaching in 2015, Catharine was a Director at Lee Hecht Harrison Knightsbridge, partner and owner at MICA Management Resources, and Managing Partner at MICA McQuaig Larkin. In her capacity as a senior leader, she has played a key role in business development, client management, and design and delivery of innovative programming.

Catharine holds honours B.A. and B.ED. degrees from the University of Toronto (Languages and Theatre Arts) and has pursued graduate studies in languages in Quebec, France, and Germany. She has completed advanced studies at Harvard - The Science of Coaching Psychology - and earned a certificate from The Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy. Catharine was an adjunct faculty member at the Rotman School of Business for 10 years and co-authored a manual for the MBTI Practitioner.

She holds designation from the International Coaching Federation as a Professional Certified Coach as well as coaching certifications from The Ivey Academy – Ivey LIFT Coach; MCEC - Master Corporate Executive Coach; and Executive Core. Catharine is certified in several leading psychometric diagnostics and has been a Master Trainer for leading global firm.
