Julia Beltrano

Julia Beltrano is a trusted leadership development strategist and executive coach with two decades of experience working in higher education and the not-for-profit sector in both French and English. Julia’s approach to coaching is grounded in deep listening, practical strategy, and a commitment to curiosity, inclusion, and lifelong learning. 

Known for her empathetic and insightful coaching style, Julia works with leaders of mission-driven organizations to enhance their leadership capacity, build inclusive and high-performing teams, and navigate organizational change with confidence and clarity. She brings a deep understanding of institutional dynamics and systems thinking, honed through years of experience in cross-functional leadership, operations, HR, and communications roles. 

As the Acting Director of Talent, Learning, and Engagement at Western University, Julia leads a high-performing team that designs and delivers strategic learning initiatives and leadership development programs across academic and administrative functions. She provides leadership coaching on employee engagement strategies and organizational consulting services that align with the university’s mission and strategic priorities. 

In addition to being an Ivey LIFT certified coach, Julia holds a Master’s degree in Digital Experience Innovation from the University of Waterloo and a suite of executive and professional certifications including: The Leadership Challenge® Certified Practitioner and Leadership Practices Inventory LPI© 360 Coach; Leadership Effectiveness Training (L.E.T.) Certified Facilitator, Change Style Indicator & Change Navigator Certification, and a Professional Certificate in Communications and Public Relations, Western University.
