Lorraine Needham

Lorraine Needham is a respected executive coach and leadership consultant, known for her bold, insightful coaching style and unwavering commitment to developing grounded, high-impact leaders. 

Before founding Lorraine Needham Coaching & Consulting Inc., Lorraine held senior leadership roles for over 30 years in the energy sector, including Electricity Trading, Finance, Administration, and Supply Chain. Her extensive background in navigating operational complexity, cross-functional leadership, and high-stakes decision-making fuels a coaching approach that blends the being and doing of leadership. 

She now partners with senior leaders across sectors, including energy, utilities and waste, finance, banking, healthcare, and manufacturing—helping them lead with authenticity, self-trust, and resilience. Drawing on her experience in complex systems and high-pressure environments, Lorraine challenges and supports clients in equal measure, earning her reputation as a trusted transformation partner. 

Her coaching and facilitation focus on navigating complexity, shaping leadership identity, building executive presence, and making values-based decisions. She has led programs and engagements with global organizations and is the designer and facilitator of The Leader Within, a transformational group coaching program for women leaders. 

In addition to one-on-one coaching, Lorraine facilitates leadership retreats, provides strategic advice for high-stakes projects, and speaks on topics such as authentic influence, innovation, self-leadership, and wellness in leadership. 

She holds certifications in Co-Active Coaching, Positive Intelligence, and is a Certified Positive Psychology-Based Health and Well-Being Coach. She has completed advanced executive development programs through Ivey Business School. 

Outside of her professional work, Lorraine is an avid hiker who recently completed the Camino de Santiago, a journey that deepened her commitment to reflection and purposeful living. She’s also a passionate gardener and shares bold, unfiltered leadership insights regularly on LinkedIn—sparking reflection and connection among leaders across industries.
