ABSTRACT
For more than a decade, the Embedding Project has been bridging research and practice to support global businesses to embed sustainability. Bringing together leading global companies and business researchers, we undertake research as well as identify, curate, and develop practical tools that support change and change agency. At the heart of the Embedding Project is a set of reciprocal and enduring relationships among researchers, corporate sustainability practitioners, educators and key knowledge mobilization partners, built up through years of engagement, that facilitate the development of both theoretical and practical knowledge.
In this session, I will share how we have built this community and what it takes to maintain it. I’ll discuss how our approach to knowledge generation and knowledge mobilisation has shifted over time and some of the important lessons that we have learned along the way.
