Sharon Irwin-Foulon, Executive Director of Ivey Career Management, spoke with The Globe and Mail about the recent release of annual employment reports of Canadian MBA graduates. Revealing the average salary three months after graduation and seeing where recent graduates landed jobs serves as a prime tool for prospective MBA students.

In 2014, an impressive 92 per cent of Ivey students landed jobs within three months of graduation with an average salary of $98,205. The reports also breaks down graduates’ countries of origin, gender, and employment by sector and pay.

Irwin-Foulon emphasizes the benefits of these employment reports and advises prospective students to be “savvy consumers” and “look at every employment report of the school [they] are looking at” when considering an MBA.
