Mike Moffatt | Ontario’s pension plan can’t simply be rolled into an expanded CPP

As the Ontario government continues its proposal to integrate the Ontario Retirement Pension Plan (ORPP) with the Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Assistant Professor Mike Moffatt questions how the province will pull it off.

Moffatt told The National Post  the two pension plans are fundamentally different.

“If you throw enough resources at a problem you can always figure out some way of administratively solving it, but it would be incredibly complicated,” he said.
