Morals and ethics are at the forefront of an Ivey education. For instance, the #MeToo movement continues to gain momentum and Ivey's teaching methods allow professors to discuss these issues in real time.

In an interview with The Globe and Mail, Gerard Seijts, executive director of Ivey's Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership, says character-related issues should be embedded into all courses.

"A compelling example is our focus on leader character as a result of the global financial crisis of 2008," says Seijts. "Character was least talked about and understood, both in organizations and business schools."
