Celebrating the impact of donor support at Ivey

Nov 17, 2025

Behind all Ivey students is a community that believes in their potential.

In this video, HBA students Max Bradwin (HBA ’92 Karen Crich Memorial Award), Luca Roma (Rogers Family Award in Business), Thomas Soliman (Yeandle Family HBA Award), Erica Weinberg (Claude Lamoureux Scholarship), and Crystal Zhu (HBA ’73 Award) share how donor generosity has shaped their Ivey experience.

The student impact

For Erica Weinberg, donor generosity is about more than financial support – it’s about feeling seen and believed in.

“Philanthropy at Ivey isn't just the confidence instilled in people like me, but it's showing that you believe in not just who we are right now, but who the future leaders are going to be in the business world,” she said.

And Luca Roma speaks to how donor generosity opens doors for students balancing school and financial pressures.

“In my first and second year, I worked a part-time job just to pay for school and work things out. So having this financial aid means a ton to me. I have more freedom, more autonomy, and most specifically, the ability to focus on my studies and career ahead of me,” he said.

Together, these students speak to the difference donor generosity makes – empowering them to step into the classroom with confidence, purpose, and gratitude.
