“The Case Teaching Workshop was a great success for the participants from Benin, Niger, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Ghana, and Ivory Coast. They all expressed great interest in the case teaching method and were very motivated. It’s obvious that they have clearly realized the relevance of the case teaching method for the quality of the education delivered by their institutions. They greatly appreciate having the opportunity to have access to Ivey cases without cost. The message that I got is that in the months to come, they will start using cases in their classrooms." Elie Chrysostome, Professor of International Business at Ivey Business School
On behalf of our Dean, Professor Bijay KC, and myself, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to Professor David for his time and the valuable insights he shared. The session has certainly inspired us to incorporate more case studies and even begin writing our own in the near future. - Roshee Lamichhane, Assistant Professor and Coordinator - Enterprise and Management Development Center (EMDC), Kathmandu University, Nepal
The workshop by Professor Albert Wocke and the Q&A session were truly eye-opening, engaging, and highly educative. As a department, we have embraced the case method as a key approach to teaching, particularly at the postgraduate level. The session reinforced our belief in the effectiveness of this approach in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students.
We look forward to continued engagement with the 39 Country Initiative and exploring further opportunities to enhance case-based learning in our programs. ~ Douglas Musiiwa, HoD, Department of Business Administration

“I personally found it to be a method that is key to developing problem solving and entrepreneurial capacity of our students.” - Dr Ratakane B. Maime (DBA), National University of Lesotho (NUL), Lesotho
I have used Ivey cases for different courses and topics, as they are designed to develop managerial thinking through quantitative applications and logical reasoning. Initially, I found it difficult to integrate the case method with groups of students who were discovering this pedagogical tool for the first time. But the wide variety of Ivey cases available and the corresponding documentation helped me to do so with encouraging results. I've used it over the last two academic terms in Tanzanian executive-level masters classes and found that the students adopted it easily, without any problems. I'm convinced that in the future, more and more students in this part of the world will benefit from Ivey's knowledge-rich collection.

Our institution hosted a French-language case teaching workshop organized in Senegal by the 39 Country Initiative. The 39-Country Initiative should be congratulated and encouraged to continue offering this case teaching workshop. Not only this workshop fosters collaboration between teachers and re-searchers from different backgrounds, but it also, and above all, gives students access to cases in French that help to reinforce their skills. Ultimately, with this type of workshop, we must train responsible citizens of the world, committed to the planet's common causes. -Ahmadou DIAKHATE, Directeur des Programmes Initiaux et des Accréditations, BEM Dakar, Sénégal
