The Governance Professionals Strategic Leadership Program is designed for those operating in that space: governance professionals who serve as key partners in shaping board effectiveness and enabling strong alignment between directors and executive teams.

This program builds the skills that matter most when the stakes are high: judgment, foresight, and the ability to navigate complex dynamics with confidence and integrity. Through rich, practice-based learning, participants will strengthen their capacity to structure better decisions, translate risk into strategy, and support boards in fulfilling their evolving role.

Return on Investment

Fees

$5,990 CAD

Program fees cover program materials, meals, and hotel accommodations for sessions held at our Ivey Spencer Leadership Centre. For sessions delivered in Toronto and Calgary, fees include program materials, breakfast, and lunch; participants are responsible for accommodations and meals outside of program hours. Program fees are tax-exempt.

Applications must be submitted no later than 14 days before the start of the program.

How do I apply?

Do I need the GPC.D designation to apply?

No. While GPC.D graduates are welcome, the program is open to all experienced leaders working at the intersection of governance and strategy.

What is the format of the program?

The program runs in person over four days at Ivey’s downtown Toronto campus, beginning in the afternoon of day one and ending after lunch on day four to allow for travel. It features case discussions, simulations, peer exercises, and faculty-led sessions.
