In a Globe and Mail article, the Ben Graham Centre’s Value Investing Conference and the surrounding related events are described as a "value-investing Lollapalooza." The annual conference is held on April 15 in downtown Toronto and will host a variety of notable speakers, including Russell Napier, Frank Martin, William Browne, Guy Spier, Richard Oldfield, Ole Nielsen and Francis Chou.

The week kicks off with the finals of a stock-picking competition organized by Ivey Professor George Athanassakos, the Ben Graham Centre’s Value Investing Conference organizer. Three teams of MBA students will vie for $17,500 in cash prizes where only the best ideas will survive.
