Taking advantage of this statistic and moving away from consumer “app-fatigue”, Mike Gozzo co-founded Smooch, a mobile program that allows businesses to reach their customers in the simplest way possible: Text messages. Assistant Professor JP Vergne spoke to Canadian Business about the value of brands texting their customers, rather than overwhelming them with new apps.
