Ivey Executive MBA candidates are trying to raise $50,000 to build two school rooms in Kenya.

The class has partnered with We Movement for the project, in support of women's literacy and gender equality. They hope to go to the Maasai Mara area of Kenya for the build next year. If they surpass their fundraising goal, the class will donate the extra money to scholarships for young girls in the area.

“They get a lot of girls who enter at the primary level, but they tend to see a major drop-off when it comes to young girls continuing their education into high school and beyond,” said EMBA candidate Vasie Papadopoulos.
