Director of the Ivey Purchasing Managers Index

The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (seasonally adjusted) by the end of November 2021 stood at 61.2. The corresponding figure for November 2020 was 52.7 and for November 2019 was 60.0.

The Employment index (seasonally adjusted) for November 2021 stood at 54.5; Inventories (seasonally adjusted) 55.0; Supplier Deliveries (seasonally adjusted) were 29.6; and Prices were 75.0.

The Ivey PMI unadjusted data for the month of November 2021 is 61.2; Employment 56.6; Inventories 57.3; Supplier Deliveries 31.0; and Prices 78.3. 

The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (seasonally adjusted) by the end of October 2021 stood at 59.3. The corresponding figure for October 2020 was 54.5 and for October 2019 was 48.2. The Employment index (seasonally adjusted) for October 2021 stood at 62.0; Inventories (seasonally adjusted) 55.0; Supplier Deliveries (seasonally adjusted) were 27.5; and Prices were 84.6.

The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index shows responses to one question: "Were your purchases last month in dollars higher, the same, or lower than the previous month?”

A figure above 50 shows an increase while below 50 shows a decrease.
