The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (seasonally adjusted) by the end of June 2021 stood at 71.9. The corresponding figure for June 2020 was 58.2 and for June 2019 was 52.4.
The Employment index (seasonally adjusted) for June 2021 stood at 69.6; Inventories (seasonally adjusted) 65.4; Supplier Deliveries (seasonally adjusted) were 37.9; and Prices were 79.4.
The Ivey PMI unadjusted data for the month of June 2021 is 67.7; Employment 66.7; Inventories 63.1; Supplier Deliveries 37.3; and Prices 81.4.
The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (seasonally adjusted) by the end of May 2021 stood at 64.7. The corresponding figure for May 2020 was 39.1 and for May 2019 was 55.9. The Employment index (seasonally adjusted) for May 2021 stood at 67.0; Inventories (seasonally adjusted) 65.3; Supplier Deliveries (seasonally adjusted) were 34.8; and Prices were 78.6.
The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index shows responses to one question: "Were your purchases last month in dollars higher, the same, or lower than the previous month?”
A figure above 50 shows an increase while below 50 shows a decrease.
