The Ivey Business School is welcoming the largest cohort in the history of its Executive MBA (EMBA) program, with 66 experienced professionals joining the incoming class.
The cohort reflects strong diversity across experience, geography, and gender. Women represent 47 per cent of the class, while 37 per cent of participants are based outside the Greater Toronto Area. On average, the participants bring 16 years of professional experience to the program.
The class officially kicked-off its EMBA journey during a welcome event at Ivey’s Spencer Leadership Centre on January 25, marking the start of residence week. Participants were greeted by Fernando Olivera, Faculty Director of the EMBA program, along with members of the EMBA program team.
As the cohort begins its residence week, the program lays the foundation for meaningful connection and collaboration among experienced professionals. This immersive start brings participants together in a shared learning environment that fosters relationship-building, peer learning, and rigorous case discussion, establishing a strong sense of community that will carry through the EMBA journey.
