Ivey Homecoming 2026 brought more than 900 alumni and guests back to campus for a weekend of reconnecting and reflecting on the lasting impact of their Ivey experience. With 24 reunion classes marking milestones from five to 65 years, alumni came together across campus and London for a weekend filled with connection, celebration, and Ivey spirit.
Milestones and memories
The weekend kicked off Friday evening, with reunion classes gathering at venues and homes across London to celebrate their milestones and reconnect with classmates.
Saturday brought alumni back to campus for the Ivey Open House, where they enjoyed a complimentary breakfast, toured the Richard Ivey Building, and had the opportunity to reconnect with classmates and the School.
“One of my favourite parts of Homecoming is seeing how quickly alumni pick up where they left off,” says Aindrea Cramp, HBA ’98, Director of Alumni Relations. “Whether they’re celebrating 10 years or 50, there’s always a lot of catching up, laughter, and stories to share. It’s great to see those friendships and connections continue over the years.”
The day continued with an Ivey Trivia Challenge, Pledge Ceremony, and afternoon learning sessions led by Ivey faculty and experts. Alumni explored how businesses are navigating an increasingly volatile global environment with Romel Mostafa, Director of the Lawrence National Centre for Policy and Management, through an interactive case on Linamar Corporation. Professor Yasser Rahrovani also explored artificial intelligence (AI), creativity, and the future of work, drawing on the technology and creative breakthroughs behind Avatar to examine how humans and AI can work together to solve problems and create new forms of value.
Many alumni made their way over to Western Alumni Stadium to cheer on the Mustangs, who beat the McMaster Marauders 32-25. The game was also live streamed at the Richard Ivey Building this year.
Recognizing Ivey community leaders
Homecoming also provided an opportunity to recognize members of the Ivey community who have made a lasting contribution to the School.
Acting Dean Nicole Haggerty, HBA ’89, PhD ’04, announced Ivey’s 2026 Distinguished Service Award recipients: Chris Tambakis, HBA ’86, Lisa Dymond, MBA ’06, and Salim Teja, HBA ’96.
The School also recognized Dusya Vera, PhD ’02, Executive Director, Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership, as the recipient of the 2026 Faculty Service Award.

Celebrating our Golden Alumni
Homecoming weekend concluded Sunday with the Golden Alumni Breakfast, bringing together alumni celebrating 50 or more years since graduation. The morning was a chance to reconnect with longtime classmates, celebrate milestones, and reflect on the enduring relationships that began at Ivey.
Thank you to everyone who returned to campus and took part in Homecoming 2026, and to the alumni volunteers, reunion organizers, and School community members who helped make the weekend possible.
