Taking it to the extreme: Ivey alumnus tackles triathlons

Mayank Vaid, HK EMBA ’11, is never one to shy away from a challenge.

His desire to get into shape led him beyond the gym to extreme triathlons. Tackling Ironman and Ultraman races and winning the world’s fastest Indian Ultraman title wasn’t even enough. He’ll next take on one of the world’s most grueling triathlons, the Enduroman, in June 2018.

“It’s been quite a journey, but a fulfilling one,” says Vaid.
