Ivey’s new Accelerated MBA participants had a chance to get to know each other and learn more about the program at the Class of 2023 welcome reception in Toronto on November 2.

The 52 participants were introduced to their learning teams and welcomed by Ivey Dean Sharon Hodgson and Associate Professor Adam Fremeth, HBA ’00, the incoming AMBA-MBA Program Faculty Director.

“The AMBA Program continues to see great interest from those seeking to accelerate their careers and take on new professional challenges within their organizations,” said Fremeth. “The significant diversity of backgrounds of this incoming class coupled with the blended model of synchronous and asynchronous experiential learning will provide a unique Ivey education that will have an immediate impact on our students’ careers and the success of their firms.”

Hodgson told the participants about the impact real-world learning will have on their organizations.

“Through immersive cases, you’ll learn about what’s happening in the world, and the most pressing issues facing businesses today. This includes what businesses have experienced during COVID-19,” she said. “These learnings will help you to advance your careers, and more importantly, help you to become remarkable leaders.”

Ivey’s new AMBA participants come from a wide range of backgrounds. Here’s a look at the AMBA Class of 2023 by the numbers.
