Hong Kong – May 26, 2026 — Ivey Business School Executive Education is launching a new leadership development experience designed for executives operating across Hong Kong, Asia, and global markets. The Ivey Global Leaders Program helps leaders strengthen judgment, adaptability, communication, and decision-making in increasingly complex and fast-moving business environments.

The Ivey Global Leaders Program (HK) is designed for high-impact leaders taking on broader responsibility and cross-functional roles within their organizations. This novel program is a five-day, in-person experience focused on strengthening leadership judgment, communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making under pressure.  Designed specifically for leaders operating in one of the world's most internationally connected business hubs, the Hong Kong program incorporates regional business perspectives, diverse participant experiences, and experiential learning opportunities that reflect the realities of leading across cultures, markets, and stakeholder groups.

Leaders across Asia face a unique combination of opportunities and challenges—from technological disruption and geopolitical uncertainty to increasingly interconnected markets and multicultural teams. Developing leadership capability in this environment requires more than theory. It requires opportunities to make decisions, test ideas, learn from experience, and gain perspective from peers facing similar complexities. The Ivey Global Leaders Program combines research-backed insights with highly interactive learning experiences designed to help participants strengthen leadership effectiveness in real-world settings.

“Hong Kong sits at the intersection of regional opportunity and global complexity. Leaders here are often navigating multiple markets, cultures, and stakeholder expectations simultaneously. This program was designed to help participants strengthen the judgment, adaptability, and decision-making capabilities needed to lead effectively in that environment.”

Bryan Benjamin, Executive Director, Ivey Executive Education

Delivered in person in Hong Kong, the program combines Ivey's decision-based learning approach with simulations, applied leadership exercises, collaborative problem solving, faculty-led discussions, and experiential learning opportunities that connect classroom insights with real-world leadership challenges. Participants are asked not simply to discuss leadership concepts, but to make decisions, defend their thinking, and learn through action alongside faculty and peers.

The program also incorporates discovery-based learning experiences that expose participants to leadership challenges in context, creating opportunities to learn from organizations, environments, and business situations beyond the classroom. The program includes site visits and immersive learning experiences that allow participants to explore leadership and organizational challenges firsthand within the Hong Kong business ecosystem.

Through simulations, experiential learning activities, peer interaction, faculty facilitation, and applied leadership challenges, participants will build capacity to:

  • Strengthen self-awareness and personal leadership effectiveness
  • Lead high-performance teams through complexity and change
  • Communicate with clarity, influence, and confidence in high-stakes situations
  • Coach, develop, and manage talent more effectively
  • Build commitment and guide team performance across organizational priorities
  • Apply practical frameworks to a real leadership challenge from their own work context
  • Return to their organizations with a sharper leadership approach and a clear plan for continued development
"Hong Kong creates an exceptional environment for leadership development because the city itself reflects many of the challenges leaders face today: global connectivity, rapid change, diverse stakeholders, and constant decision-making under uncertainty. Participants will learn not only from faculty and peers, but also from engaging directly with the business environment around them.
