Ulrike Bahr-Gedalia is a multilingual, award-winning innovator, entrepreneur, and technology business executive with over 25 years of experience in the private, public, nonprofit, and academic sectors. Originally from Germany, her global career spans six countries and five continents.
Ulrike is presently the Senior Director, Digital Economy, Technology and Innovation, Canadian Chamber of Commerce, where she leads federal policy files on artificial intelligence, cyber security, telecommunications, quantum, online safety, digital transformation, and privacy and data protection, among others. Ulrike also leads the Canadian Chamber’s Digital Economy Committee, Cyber Security Council and Future of Artificial Intelligence Council.
Prior to joining the Canadian Chamber, Ulrike was the President and CEO of Digital Nova Scotia, worked at the Nova Scotia Provincial Government, including a Crown Corporation and held a broad array of executive leadership roles at the headquarters of prominent multi-national technology corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises, and start-ups across the globe, including Intel, Compaq/HP, McAfee, Madge Networks, Commtouch/Cyren, Nipendo, CarteNav, and Seaside Wireless.
