George Baran

George Baran has over 20 years experience in the medical device industry. His responsibilities have included both business and technical leadership in the acquisition and development of novel medical device technologies. He has also been responsible for the pre-clinical marketing of new drug delivery technologies to medical opinion leaders and major pharmaceutical companies. This has included collaboration with business and clinical partners in the design and co-ordination of pre-clinical studies. George has been granted several US and international patents for novel medical devices for drug delivery and minimally invasive surgery and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business. He currently sits on the Trudell Medical Limited Board of Directors and serves as Vice Chairman. While still maintaining some R&D and marketing responsibilities, his primary role is to work with the Board and management to ensure the company is properly aligned for future prosperity and growth. 

 

Trudell Medical Limited is a private Canadian holding company with operating subsidiaries that specialize in the development and manufacturing of pharmaceutical aerosol delivery and patient compliance systems as well as devices for minimally invasive surgery. Additional subsidiaries specialize in medical device marketing and the provision of healthcare services.
