Applications for the Women in Asset Management program open mid-September 2026!

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

PROGRAM DATES

A 2-day pre-program weekend from March 20 - 21, 2027, followed by in-class sessions from May 3 to June 4, 2027. These sessions will take place in the Ivey building. Internships begin in June and continue until August.

FREE TUITION

The WAM program is tuition-free and is subsidized by our corporate sponsors who support our mission. We also provide course materials, accommodations, selected meals, and networking events free of charge. You just need to provide your own accommodation during the internship.

CLASSROOM LEARNING

The in-class sessions provide the skills, knowledge, and competencies to help you launch a career in asset management. The sessions cover technical skills, industry knowledge, and career success.

DIVERSITY

We are striving to fill the class with a diverse group of students who self-identify as women with broad representation from faculties across Western University and all other Canadian universities.

INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE

You will experience asset management hands-on through a 10-12 week paid internship, with mentoring and networking opportunities at a bank, pension fund, hedge fund, or other asset management firm.

APPLY

The application requires a resume, transcript, two short essays, and a short video that introduces you and explains why you should be part of the program.  Candidates who make it through an initial screening will be interviewed by a selection committee.
