Purpose

The purpose of internships is to provide participants with a meaningful asset management experience and an introduction to industry career opportunities. Interns will work on asset management projects, receive mentoring, and have networking opportunities.

Logistics

Paid internships will occur between June 3 and August 23, 2024*, in select cities throughout Canada, with the majority in Toronto. Participants will be responsible for their own accommodations. The WAM team will assign the internships based on best fit for both participants and corporate sponsors, and other factors we feel will be the best fit.

Students have been placed in internships at firms such as RBC Global Asset Management, Scotiabank 1832, CIBC, Mackenzie Investments, PSP, BMO Global Asset Management, CPP Investments, Polar Asset Management Partners, Brookfield, Forthlane Partners, Selectpath, Sun Life, UPP OMERS, BCI, HOOPP & AGF.

*internships will be 10-12 weeks in duration, depending on each sponsor.
