Editorial Board

The Intouch Editorial Board operates exclusively for the advancement of the Ivey Business School and its alumni magazine, Intouch, by fostering mutual communication and support between the School and its alumni body and by providing valuable feedback to improve the alumni experience through the publication. It has an advisory capacity for the editorial staff in the Ivey Alumni Relations department.

With more than 15 years of experience in education leadership, Jenni Denniston brings a wealth of experience, insights and energy to the Alumni Relations portfolio. A proud HBA alumna, she works closely with the Ivey Alumni Network Board of Directors, the Intouch Editorial Board, and the Advancement team to deliver a world-class alumni program. With more than 40 per cent alumni engagement year over year, the strength and depth of the Alumni Network is clearly unique to Ivey and is considered by many to be a differentiator in the market.

Katrina Bolak is a passionate marketing and communications leader. Having started her career in PR and publishing, she has worn many hats. From marketer to podcaster to entrepreneur, there are still so many industries she plans to dip her toes into. A lifelong learner, she brings a “test and learn” approach to her current role in Fintech where she oversees CRM and creative operations as part of a growing Canadian venture.

Quinn Flaherty excels at building stories that resonate. With 8+ years of financial services experience in various marketing and communication roles, Quinn works every day to make money, capital markets and investments easier to understand. From podcasts to social media campaigns, Quinn and his team are responsible for researching, building and measuring a dynamic multi-channel content strategy. Quinn is excited to represent MSc graduates on the Editorial Board.

Jay HamiltonWith over 15 years experience in digital marketing Jay has led the growth of some of Canada's fastest growing companies. Most recently he launched Impact Digital Marketing in early 2020 to provide digital marketing and growth strategy to the rapidly expanding online education industry. Jay also founded Spaghetti Stories which builds websites for startups and SME's around the world. Living nomadically, Jay splits his time between Toronto, Whistler and a tropical beach throughout the year.

Vaishnavi RaviHaving accumulated years of experience in the Fin-tech and Ad-tech space, Vaishnavi is curious, and innovative in her approach. Currently the Product Manager for Top Hat’s education platform helping accelerate it’s hyper-growth in the global market, Vaishnavi completed her business undergrad in India where she grew up, and joined Google right after, dabbling in Google Wallet and digital Advertising over the next several years. The Ivey MBA experience further expanded her business acumen as she worked with Canada’s giants like Bell, Kijiji, and The Weather Network, ensuring their products and go-to-market strategies are built with the audience in mind.

Vaishnavi is a member of the Editorial Board for the Ivey’s alumni magazine and in her spare time, can be found reading, playing word-games, travelling and listening to funky tunes.  

Jeff Weiss

With over 25 years of marketing experience on both the client and agency sides of the business, Jeff has a solid understanding of what it takes to be successful in marketing to women. His stints at Pepsi, Gillette, Dannon and Sprint Canada helped to hone his marketing and business skills, while working with clients including Kraft, KitchenAid, Unilever and the Dairy Farmers of Canada ensures that the agency develops and executes brand-building programs that resonate with women.

In addition to running Harbinger, Jeff is also an active Board Member for the Toronto Santa Claus Parade and a member of the Editorial Board for the Ivey’s alumni magazine. In his spare time, Jeff can often be seen on the tennis court with his family.
