IAN Volunteer Form

Thank you for your interest in joining the Ivey Alumni Network!

The IAN, established in 1998, is a non-profit organization led by an all-volunteer Board of Directors. The Board serves as an advisory body to the department of Alumni Relations to help establish policies, plan events, unite alumni and guide their work. Board Members are supported by an extensive network of Chapters and Volunteers.

Board Members and Volunteers of the Ivey Alumni Network give their time and talent to help Ivey deliver the best alumni experience through a variety of programs and events fostering relationships between the alumni and the School, and among fellow alumni in networks around the world.

Mission Statement

To encourage and promote continuous professional and personal enrichment by connecting alumni with each other and the School.

Board of Directors

Board Members serve the IAN through several committees:

  • Executive Committee, comprised of Board Chair, Vice-Chair and Committee Chairs
  • Equity Diversity and Inclusion Committee
  • Channels Committee
  • Governance and Recognition Committee
  • Data and Analytics Committee
  • Global Ivey Day Committee
  • Career Acceleration Committee

To be eligible to serve as a Board Member, candidates must be graduates of the Ivey Business School at Western University.

The IAN believes strongly in equity, diversity and inclusion and that the composition of the Board should be representative of our alumni body.

Volunteers

Volunteers support the Ivey Alumni Network and its Board through focused participation. Volunteer roles are varied - example volunteer roles include:

  • Global Ivey Day event preparation and execution
  • Mentor Circle preparation and leadership
  • Ivey Pledge ceremony participation
  • Chapter-focused initiatives

We encourage volunteer participation as a first step in engaging with the IAN. To be eligible to volunteer, candidates must be graduates of the University.
