Matt Jamieson, CEO of the Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation, addressed the Ivey Corporations and Society course on the topic of Indigenous participation in Canada’s energy sector. Mr. Jamieson spoke to the students about how Six Nations had been able to develop solar and wind power projects in Southwestern Ontario and founded a utility services firm that would support utility related work. He further elaborated on how his corporation has set a growth objective that would involve further investment in energy generation and storage projects.
