The Founder's Journey: Building a Strong Foundation For Your SLP Capstone Project
As part of the Summer Leadership Program (SLP), you’ll work in teams to tackle a capstone project that challenges you to think critically, collaborate effectively, and craft innovative solutions to real-world problems. To set you up for success, all participants are required to complete The Founder’s Journey course before arriving on August 3rd.
The Founder’s Journey is a free online course developed by the Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship at Western University. It provides a step-by-step framework to help you think like an entrepreneur, with real-world insights from award-winning Ivey Business School professors.
Through eight interactive modules, you’ll dive into essential concepts such as ideation, market validation, financing, and scaling up. Designed to enhance your strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, the course is quick to complete in just 3 to 4 hours, and you’ll earn a certificate upon finishing.
