In today’s business environment, we are facing more disruption than ever before — often navigating multiple, overlapping challenges. The list of disruptive forces is both familiar and daunting: health crises, inflation, digital transformation, climate change, social shifts, and unstable geopolitics, among many others.

Navigating these crises requires a new way of thinking. Systems thinking is a powerful tool that helps individuals and organizations untangle these complex challenges, build collaborative relationships, and recognize high-impact opportunities for long-term growth. As a leader in any industry, using a systems lens will unlock new perspectives and help you see creative solutions to the wicked problems you face at work.

On Wednesday, April 5, join The Ivey Academy in Calgary for an interactive workshop facilitated by Tima Bansal, Ivey Business School Professor and Founder of Innovation North. You’ll engage with other leaders to map out the disruptions impacting your business, define the strategic opportunities they create, and use your organization’s purpose to guide effective, sustainable decision-making.

How to apply systems thinking to complex problems
Why systems thinking leads to better outcomes in turbulent times
Practical examples of systems thinking in action

Whether you are new to systems thinking or an experienced practitioner, this event will provide valuable insights and techniques to help you confidently tackle key challenges for your organization.

The event will be held at the Ampersand in downtown Calgary. Breakfast and refreshments will be provided. Space is limited, so please register as soon as possible to secure your spot.

HRPA Continuing Professional Development

This workshop has been approved for 2.5 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) under Category A of the CPD Log of the Human Resource Professionals Association (HRPA). Following the event, those who have attended in full will be provided with a CPD code number that can be used on your Continuing Professional Development Log.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR GETTING THE CAMPAIGN ID

This can only be retrieved after the campaign has been created in Salesforce.
Go to the Campaigns tab in Salesforce.
Either using the dropdown filters, or by doing a search from the top search bar, find the campaign you have created for the event. Click on that campaign.
On the Campaign record page, within the URL there is an ID after /r/Campaign/. The ID is made up of numbers and letters (ex. /r/Campaign/7011Y000001mxZYQAY/view)
Copy that ID.
In the default value section of the left hand toolbar, replace the text " CAMPAIGN ID HERE" with the ID you copied from Salesforce.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR GETTING THE FORM ID

After you have renamed this form and saved it as a new version, copy the 7 digit number at the end of the url in your browser and paste it into the default value field for this form.
Alternatively, you can right click on the little icon in the left hand column of this page that looks like a cloud with an arrow inside and open that in a new tab. In the top section of the page that opens, there will be the public link to the form which will have the 7 digit number you need to use at the end of that link.
This is also the number you will use to paste into Umbraco for the iveyacademy.ca website to be able to link to the proper form for registrants to access.
