Volunteer Opportunities

Speak at Ivey

Students at Ivey are encouraged to challenge assumptions and incite innovation, whether by our world-class faculty, by staff, by their peers in clubs and events, or by our very own Ivey alumni. Each year, we depend on generous alumni like you to pay it forward as keynote speakers, case competition judges, panelists, company representatives, and more. You help fuel the minds of our students — the industry leaders of tomorrow.

Ivey Alumni Network

The Ivey Alumni Network serves as both an advisory body and working group to support the department of Alumni Relations. Board members help establish policies and programming to unite alumni. Chapter volunteers help keep our global alumni connected through events and networking opportunities.

Mentorship

As a Career Connections Program participant, you are helping to shape the next generation of future leaders, sharing your experience and expertise, and providing the guidance students need to make important career decisions – both post grad and beyond.

LEADER Project

Over the course of the two-week LEADER program, Alumni Volunteers will coach local entrepreneurs in emerging markets and teach cases and lectures alongside a team of current Ivey students. You will also get to explore local culture with your LEADER Instructor team.

Entrepreneurship Connect

Become an integral part of the entrepreneurship community at Western University. Judge pitch competitions, mentor student teams through class projects, invest in Western-founded ventures, or share your industry experience through a webinar. You can help our entrepreneurs become extraordinary.

Ivey Field Project

As part of Ivey's core requirements, over 90 teams of 6 students per team work with their client organization to study a cross-enterprise issue, problem or opportunity of operational, organizational or strategic significance to their business. Students apply and integrate the knowledge and skills acquired throughout their Ivey program to further develop their analytical, team and project management skills.
