For Business Graduates
Continue your career while earning an Ivey MBA with the Ivey Accelerated MBA. It's a powerful combination of online learning and in-class sessions that delivers a transformational education experience while allowing maximum flexibility for the demands of work, personal commitments and career.
- November – Begin with business fundamentals in preparation for the start of the Program.
- January – Classes begin with a one-week residential session in London, Ontario.
- Monthly sessions – Attend three consecutive days of in-class sessions, Friday through Sunday, in downtown Toronto.
- Weekly study – Set your own pace, but plan for approximately 20 hours a week of study outside of the classroom hours. This includes completing online modules, case preparation, and other projects and assignments.
- August – Take part in an international study trip with your cohort.
The format combines the benefits of learning online with powerful in-class sessions. This maximizes flexibility while delivering a high-quality and high-touch learning experience. The online experience delivers key concepts and theories that will be pulled into the classroom case study discussions, helping you make the most of your in-person time through the application of the material.

Pathway for Non-Business Graduates: Graduate Diploma in Management
The Ivey Graduate Diploma in Management is a part-time program designed for those seeking to build a strong foundation in business and transition into the Accelerated MBA Program. Over the course of four months starting each May, you’ll experience a dynamic schedule that combines in-person classes, hands-on workshops, and collaborative group projects at Ivey’s Donald K. Johnson Centre in downtown Toronto.
The program is structured into three focused periods:
- Period 1 (6 weeks): Explore core business fundamentals in Accounting, Marketing, and Leadership, followed by a week of final assessments.
- Period 2 (6 weeks): Explore core business fundamentals in Finance, Strategy, and Operations, followed by a week of final assessments.
- Period 3 (2 weeks): Participate in the Managing Disruption Strategically capstone course. This integrative course focuses on disruptive business and the need to grasp innovations in corporate information systems, Big Data, and analytics.
