Melissa Hartwick is a Principal at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she leads work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and business strategy. Based in Toronto, she brings a rare combination of management consulting expertise and deep technical knowledge to her work helping organizations navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

Melissa holds a Master of Information and Data Science (MIDS) from the UC Berkeley School of Information and an Honours Business Administration (HBA) degree from the Ivey Business School. Her technical training, paired with her consulting experience at BCG, allows her to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI capabilities and real-world business applications, with published work spanning topics from AI-driven manufacturing to intelligent flight delay prediction and network recovery.
