Jaime Tatis is Executive Vice-President and Chief Data & Artificial Intelligence Officer at CIBC. He is responsible for advancing the bank's global data and AI strategy to drive innovation, value creation, enable responsible AI adoption, and strengthen decision-making across the enterprise. Jaime's mandate includes building world-class data and AI capabilities that support CIBC's ambition to be the best relationship-oriented bank for a modern, digital world.
Jaime joined CIBC in 2026, bringing deep expertise in enterprise data, analytics, and artificial intelligence. Prior to joining CIBC, Jaime held senior executive roles at TELUS, most recently serving as Chief AI Officer, where he led large-scale data and AI transformations focused on improving customer experience, operational efficiency, and business performance.
Throughout his career, Jaime has been recognized as a visionary technology leader with a strong ability to bridge business and technical teams, build high-performing organizations, and translate advanced technology into tangible business outcomes.
Jaime holds a Master of Electrical Engineering from Concordia University and an Executive MBA from the Ivey School of Business.
