Larissa Chaikowsky

Larissa Chaikowsky is the Chief Learning Officer and Head, Talent & Culture Enablement at BMO Financial Group. Her scope includes culture and employee listening, talent acquisition, inclusion, executive and leadership development, enterprise learning and skills development, organizational design and job evaluation, and strategic employee programs. As part of this role, she is also the lead Faculty Member of the BMO Academy. She recently returned to Canada after nine years in the US, where she held positions including the US CHRO, BMO Financial Group and Chief Operating Officer for U.S. Wealth Management. During her eighteen-year tenure with BMO, Larissa has held several other senior positions that have played a role in helping redefine the BMO brand and culture, and in Technology & Operations, Human Resources and Corporate Strategy. Larissa also sits as a Director of BMO’s Capital Markets Corporation. Larissa won the American Banker Most Powerful Women in Banking Team award six times while in the US.

Larissa is a certified Board Director (NACD.DC) and during her spare time, Larissa likes to give back to the community. She recently finished tenures on the Boards of Inspiration Corporation and the American Red Cross. She currently sits on the executive committee of the Board for Prosight Financial, is a director with Campfire Circle and incoming Board Chair of the Ivey Alumni Association. She also loves mountaineering and trekking, anything outdoors and spending time in the kitchen cooking for friends and family.

Larissa received her Bachelor of International Business and Relations from the Sprott School of Business/Universidad de Buenos Aires and holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business (class valedictorian.)
