Ram is at RBC Capital Markets serving as Global Co-Head of the Financial Sponsors group and Canadian Head of Diversified Industries and is a member of the Investment Banking Operating Committee. Prior to joining RBC Capital Markets in January 2022, Ram was Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking Canada at Credit Suisse. Prior to that Ram spent several years at Morgan Stanley and CS First Boston having worked in New York, London, and Toronto. He has over 24 years of investment banking experience across multiple industries and products including M&A, leveraged finance and equity capital markets.
In the community, Ram is an active leader as a Board member of St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation and is involved in other local community initiatives.
Ram graduated with Honors in Business Administration from Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Ram is married with three children and lives in Toronto.
