Session Details
As the world grows to become more digital, organizations and governments continue to spend billions of dollars on Cybersecurity. Yet, as their investment has grown, the frequency and the consequences of cyber breaches have increased noticeably. Stories of data breaches and ransomware attacks are appearing more regularly in the news, impacting organizations of all sizes in every sector.
In this two-part virtual event, we explore why all leaders should approach cybersecurity as an organizational lifestyle – with an important role for everyone. We set out to unpack murky or ambiguous decisions about cybersecurity and discuss how leaders’ responsibilities change in light of digital stewardship principles.
On June 22, we begin with a virtual Simulation, Cyber Attack! As registered participants in this simulation, you play the role of senior executive at a company amid a cyber-attack. You will practice prioritization under pressure, make critical decisions in real-time, and work with a team in a fast-paced environment. Upon the completion of the simulation, you will be led by Professor Laurel Austin through an illuminating debrief about the importance of leadership in cybersecurity.
