Lani Martin

Lani has extensive experience in investment banking, private equity and advisory work. She spent over 12 years in investment banking with Merrill Lynch and Banc of America Securities in New York. Prior to this, Lani spent 4 years with Price Waterhouse in Canada. Upon relocating to London, she has focused on mentoring, advising and investing in young companies while also taking the opportunity to focus on her charitable endeavours. Lani has had a consistent commitment to charities that support children’s health and education globally. Most recently, Lani co-founded Impact London Collective, a collective philanthropic organization which has awarded £900,000 in transformative grants to 18 charities benefitting marginalized women and girls in London since 2020.

Lani is currently a Trustee of Impact London Collective and Seeds of Peace UK. She is also on the Global Leadership Counsel of Seeds of Peace, the Western University UK Advisory Board and is a founding member and serves on the Committee for IWIL (Ivey Women Investing in Leadership).

Born and educated in Canada, Lani moved to NYC after her MBA to pursue her finance career. She is currently located in London, England where she moved to in 2006 with her husband and two children.

Lani holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Calgary and an MBA’93 from Ivey Business School. Lani was a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
