Lani Martin

Lani has extensive experience in investment banking, private equity and advisory work. She spent over 12 years in investment banking with Merrill Lynch and Banc of America Securities in New York. Prior to this, Lani spent 4 years with Price Waterhouse in Canada. Upon relocating to London, she has focused on mentoring, advising and investing in young companies while also taking the opportunity to focus on her charitable endeavours. Lani has had a consistent commitment to charities that support children’s health and education globally. Most recently, Lani co-founded Impact 100 London, a collective philanthropic organisation which will provide transformational grants to charities benefitting women and children in the London area. Lani is currently a member of the Global Leadership Council and the UK Development Committee of Seeds of Peace and the Fundraising Steering Committee for The City of London School for Girls.

Born and educated in Canada, Lani moved to NYC after her MBA to pursue her finance career. She is currently located in London, England where she moved to in 2006 with her husband and two children.

Lani holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Calgary and an MBA’93 from Ivey School of Business. Lani was a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
