We’re operating in a new world since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. While there have been several challenges in adjusting to the new normal, we recognize the opportunity to connect alumni members across all Americas Chapters virtually. Fostering a sense of community remains our top priority, and with this first cross-Chapter event and a little bit of wine/champagne, we encourage you to meet, reconnect, and have some fun stretching with your peers across the country!

Vino Vinyasa is brought to you by the Ivey Alumni New York Chapter. The virtual event includes a ~45 minute Vinyasa Flow Yoga class followed by ~45 minutes of Champagne Tasting, and will be hosted on Zoom on Wednesday, September 23 at 7 – 8:30 p.m. EDT. The class will be conducted by the founder of Vino Vinyasa Yoga, Morgan Perry, and we will also be joined by Pierre Chichportiches, the Regional Director for Champagne Billecart-Salmon, a well-known family run champagne house from France.

All you’ll need is:

• Yourself
• Your yoga mat
• Bottle (or two) of your favorite champagne or sparkling wine (see details below)
• Access to Zoom (laptop/phone/tablet)

The champagne tasting will be led jointly by Pierre and Morgan, who will be discussing Billecart-Salmon’s Brut Réserve and their iconic Brut Rosé. For the full experience, you can purchase the curated options from Billecart-Salmon - Brut Réserve and/or Brut Rosé. Both are available in half or full bottles on wine.com, drizly.com, Vivino, and select grocery stores like Whole Foods & FreshDirect. If you don’t get a chance to source this brand, you can always pick another champagne or sparkling wine of your choice and join the conversation.

This free and private Ivey Alumni event is a great way to wind down and get-to-know / reconnect with fellow alumni during these unprecedented times. Family & friends are more than welcome to join in on your screen and enjoy the fun. We will also be leveraging the chat functionality for introductions and engagement among alumni…and there will be exciting ‘wine giveaways’ to win through the hour-and-a-half session.
