The Scotiabank Digital Banking Lab at Ivey Business School and Upside Consulting are organizing a FinTech workshop for public-sector officials on Tuesday April 4th from 12:00-6:00pm in Toronto. This event will provide policymakers, regulators and other public sector employees with an introduction to financial technology (“FinTech”), the different business lines, and the Toronto ecosystem. This event is being hosted at OneEleven, a tech start-up accelerator located in downtown Toronto.

The workshop will feature founders and senior executives from FinTech start-ups, investors, and hubs who are donating their time in the interests of promoting Canada’s FinTech ecosystem. The event is not sponsored, and a nominal cost is being charged to cover a buffet lunch, coffee breaks, and a reception.

Space is limited to 50 participants so please email mking@ivey.ca to receive a link to register as soon as possible. Registration will close on March 31st.

This workshop is being held the day ahead of BDC’s Canadian Fintech 2.0 Summit 2017, which takes place on April 5th at MaRS. Participants are encouraged to attend this Summit to meet and hear more from the Canadian FinTech community.
