For those who attended our symposium on blockchain and cryptoassets tax issues, we hope you enjoyed the insights on how blockchain and cryptoassets are changing accounting and investing, as well as the tax and legal issues around these assets.

If you couldn't attend, you can still view some of the slides from the presentation and read our coverage of the event. Our news article below includes an audio interview with the keynote speaker, Alan Wunsche, MBA '91, discussing takeaways from the event and some of the issues and challenges for those who work in the space.

This event was co-organized by the CPA Ontario Centre for Accounting and the Public Interest (Mitch Stein), the Scotiabank Digital Banking Lab (Michael King), and Western Law (Jennifer Farrell), in partnership with CPA Ontario. If you are interested in learning more about these groups, we've included their contact information below.

Watch for the invitation for our March 21st Ivey Idea Forum with Cynthia Cooper, former Vice President of Internal Audit at WorldCom, on ethical leadership in accounting.

We hope to see you at a future event!
