One of the mandates for the Scotiabank Digital Banking Lab is student engagement including providing students with onsite experiences at Scotiabank through internships, summer rotations, and research projects. Through the Ivey Field Project initiative (IFP), two HBA teams (below) worked with Scotia executives on consulting engagements over the fall of 2017.

The Ivey Field Project provides students with an opportunity to gain real world business experience through engagement with companies, industries and issues.

From Team 2: “Our time with our client offered us an incredibly unique experience to gain an understanding of how a real-life industry operates. We were able to apply lessons that we have learned in our classes in a hands-on approach to help create tangible change. This project motivated us to think critically, and helped prepare us for a future of business leadership.”
