Ivey Scholarships and Awards are available to our HBA students during the course of the program, from admission to convocation. The recipient selection is extremely competitive due to the high calibre of students admitted to the Ivey HBA Program.

The award finder tool below provides an overview and brief description of each award and category available to our students.  Please note while we try our best to maintain the accuracy of this website, the information is subject to change. The HBA Admission Award application is within the "Apply for Awards" section in the HBA application and AEO2 Intent to Register. There is not a separate application for these awards.

Merit ScholarshipsLuc Vanneste HBA ScholarshipAwarded annually to a full-time student entering HBA1 based on academic achievement (80% minimum), demonstrated community leadership, and who has graduated from a publicly-funded high-school. The award section within the AEOI/HBA application considers candidates for all Ivey HBA Admission scholarships. There is not a separate award application for this scholarship. Applicants who do not complete the award section of their HBA application will not be considered for an Ivey HBA admission award. This award was established with a generous gift from Luc Vanneste, EMBA '99.$10000
Merit AwardsMaple Leaf Capital HBA Scholarship in FinanceAwarded annually to a full-time student entering his or her second year of the HBA Program at the Ivey Business School who received the highest grade in the 3303 Finance course. The recipient must be enrolled in a minimum of two second year HBA finance electives. In the event of a tie, the award will be split between the students who meet the above criteria. The HBA Scholarship Committee will make the final selection of the recipient.  This award was established by a generous donation from Maple Leaf Capital, an investment management company with offices in London, Hong Kong, and Los Angeles founded by two HBA graduates in 2002.$10000
Need and Merit AwardsMary and Barry Ullett 125th Anniversary OSOTF AwardAwarded to a full-time student who is entering Year I of the HBA program based on financial need and academic excellence (minimum 70%). Preference will be given to candidates from Guelph or Brantford, Ontario. Must be Ontario resident. The award section within the AEOI/HBA application considers candidates for all Ivey HBA Admission scholarships. There is not a separate award application for this scholarship. Applicants who do not complete the award section of their HBA application will not be considered for an Ivey HBA admission award.$1350
Merit AwardsMichael A. R. Wilson Family HBA ScholarshipAwarded annually to a full-time undergraduate student at Western who has been accepted into Ivey’s Advanced Entry Opportunity (AEO), based on academic achievement (minimum 80% academic average) and demonstrated leadership skills. A strong preference will be given to a candidate from the Ottawa, Ontario area. If a recipient from the Ottawa area is not found, preference will be given to a student from Eastern Ontario. The recipient will receive this award upon entering HBA 1. If for some reason, the AEO recipient does not enter HBA 1 at Ivey she/he will forfeit the award, and another HBA 1 student who meets the criteria will be selected. The award will be renewed for HBA 2 provided the candidate maintains a minimum 80% average. The selection of the recipient will be made by the HBA Scholarship Review Committee. Need and Merit AwardsPeter Powell Class of 1959 AwardsAwarded to students in first year of the HBA program. The award, which will continue into their second year, is available to students with acceptable academic achievement coupled with demonstrated initiative, who require financial assistance. The award section within the AEOI/HBA application considers candidates for all Ivey HBA Admission scholarships. There is not a separate award application for this scholarship. Applicants who do not complete the award section of their HBA application will not be considered for an Ivey HBA admission award. Established by the Class of 1959 through Foundation Western in memory of a distinguished member of that class, Peter K. Powell. 1 @ $1,100 continuing$1100
EntrepreneurshipPierre L. Morrissette HBA Award in EntrepreneurshipAwarded to a full-time HBA student who is enrolled in the Entrepreneurship Certificate Program. In addition to illustrating outstanding academic quality, the successful applicant will have expressed a strong interest in entrepreneurship and been accepted through Ivey's Advanced Entry Opportunity (AEO). The Ivey Financial Aid Office will electronically communicate the Ivey HBA in-program award applications throughout the fall-winter timeframe. There is not an individual award application for this scholarship. The HBA Scholarship Committee will select the award recipient in consultation with the Pierre L. Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship. This award was established by Landmark Communications, Inc. in honour of Pierre L. Morrissette.$5000
Merit ScholarshipsPlan for Excellence Undergraduate ScholarshipsAwarded to students in HBA 1 or 2 at the Ivey Business School. The Plan for Excellence Undergraduate Scholarships were established by the Advisory Committee of the School of Business Administration to recognize academic achievement, extra-curricular activities and leadership. The value and number of awards will vary from year to year. The award section within the AEOI/HBA application considers candidates for all Ivey HBA Admission scholarships. There is not a separate award application for this scholarship. Applicants who do not complete the award section of their HBA application will not be considered for an Ivey HBA admission award.$5000
Merit ScholarshipsPOMC Undergraduate AwardAwarded to a student in HBA 2 who has shown distinguished performance in the HBA 1 Operations Management Course at the Ivey Business School. The HBA Scholarship Committee, in consultation with the faculty teaching the first-year Operations Management course, will make the final selection of the recipient. Preference will be given to a student who has enrolled in one or more HBA2 Operations electives. The Ivey Financial Aid Office will electronically communicate the Ivey HBA in-program award applications throughout the fall-winter timeframe. There is not an individual award application for this scholarship.This award was established by the participants in the 1984 POM Course.$500
Merit ScholarshipsProfessor Attilio and Maria Braga 125th Anniversary Alumni ScholarshipAwarded to a full-time student entering HBA Year 1 in their third year at Western, based on academic achievement (minimum 80% overall admission average). In addition, the recipient must be an Advanced Entry Opportunity (AEO) student and have obtained the highest average in 2.0 undergraduate Science credits at the 300 or 400 level at Western as compared to any other AEO student admitted to HBA Year 1. The award section within the AEOI/HBA application considers candidates for all Ivey HBA Admission scholarships. There is not a separate award application for this scholarship. Applicants who do not complete the award section of their HBA application will not be considered for an Ivey HBA admission award.$2500
MeritProfessor David G. Burgoyne HBA '90 ScholarshipAwarded annually to a student entering HBA1 or HBA2 based on academic achievement and demonstrated community leadership. This scholarship was established by a generous gift from the HBA Class of 1990 in memory and honour of their late professor David G. Burgoyne, and in recognition of their 20th Class Reunion. $10000
Merit AwardsQuantumShift Fellow HBA Entrepreneurship AwardAwarded annually to a full-time student entering HBA1 at the Ivey Business School, who graduated from a publicly funded high school and is based on academic achievement, leadership skill and personification of the spirit, passion and drive necessary to become a successful entrepreneur. The HBA Scholarship Committee, in consultation with the Pierre L. Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship, will make the final selection of the recipient. This award was established with a generous gift from the QuantumShift Fellows to recognize the leadership and contributions of QuantumShift program founder Eric A. Morse. $3500
Merit ScholarshipsRaymond L McFeetors Scholarship in Honors Business AdministrationAwarded to a full-time undergraduate student of outstanding quality entering the Honors Business Administration Program at the Ivey Business School, based on academic achievement in their first two years of their program at Western (minimum criterion of 80% entry average). The scholarship will be tenable in first year of the HBA program, and renewable to second year based upon the maintenance of a minimum average of 80%. The recipient will be selected by the HBA Scholarship and Awards Committee at the Ivey Business School. The award section within the AEOI/HBA application considers candidates for all Ivey HBA Admission scholarships. There is not a separate award application for this scholarship. Applicants who do not complete the award section of their HBA application will not be considered for an Ivey HBA admission award. This scholarship was established by Raymond L. McFeetors (President & CEO of Great-West Life and London Life) to commemorate his term on Western's Board of Governors. 1 award @ $550 continuing$550
MeritRobert V. Hicks AwardAwarded annually to a student enrolled in the HBA program with high academic standing and a career interest in Human Resource Management. Established by the generosity of the partners at Hicks Morley Hamilton Stewart Storey in honour of Robert V. Hicks upon his retirement from the firm. $2600
Merit AwardsRocky Campana HBA AwardAwarded annually to a full-time student entering HBA 2 at Ivey in recognition of his/her commitment and support of the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) community through demonstrated volunteerism and/or community leadership. This award was established with a generous gift from Windsor Pride - Run for Rocky on behalf of Rob & Nancy Campana in memory of their son, Rocky. Rocky Campana graduated from the HBA Program in 2011. During his time at Ivey, Rocky volunteered in the Pride Library, wrote and edited four case-studies, which have been published and are now in circulation with Ivey Publishing. Rocky was an advocate for Human Rights especially focusing on equal rights for the LGBT community. Rocky was posthumously awarded the Bill Graham Award at Toronto Pride Fest 2013 Pride & Remembrance Run. The Bill Graham Award was established in 2008 by the Pride & Remembrance Association to recognize service to the LGBT community through demonstrated volunteerism and/or community leadership.$3000
Merit ScholarshipsRogers Family Award in BusinessAvailable to a full-time undergraduate student entering the first year of study at the Ivey Business School following two years or more of study in any faculty at Western University based on academic achievement. Preference will be given to the student who has demonstrated the greatest increase in his or her annual academic average between the first year of university study and completion of the second year of university. Candidates must also demonstrate an aptitude for creative and innovative thought, exceptional achievement in extracurricular activities and commitment to active citizenship. The award section within the AEOI/HBA application considers candidates for all Ivey HBA Admission scholarships. There is not a separate award application for this scholarship. Applicants who do not complete the award section of their HBA application will not be considered for an Ivey HBA admission award. EntrepreneurshipSabourin Family HBA Scholarship in EntrepreneurshipAwarded to a full-time undergraduate HBA Student who is applying for acceptance into the Certificate in Entrepreneurship stream. The recipient will be selected based on who best personifies the spirit, passion and drive necessary to become a successful entrepreneur. A shortlist of potential award recipients will be determined by the Director of the Pierre L. Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship based on the Entrpreneurship Certificate Stream application forms. The HBA Scholarship Review Committee will select the award recipient in consultation with the Director of the Pierre L. Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship. This scholarship is made possible through a donation from Mr. Paul Sabourin, MBA '80, through Foundation Western.$6900
Need and Merit AwardsSamuel A. Martin AwardAwarded to a student enrolled in the fourth year of the HBA Program at the Ivey Business School. The award will be given on the basis of financial need and a demonstrated contribution to social, athletic and academic activities related to the HBA program. The Ivey Financial Aid Office will electronically communicate the Ivey HBA in-program award applications throughout the fall-winter timeframe. There is not an individual award application for this scholarship.$1000
Need and Merit AwardsScotiabank Continuing HBA AwardsAwarded to students in the HBA program who have a minimum 'B' average and an interest in pursuing a career in the financial services industry, with particular interest or background in the Americas or entrepreneurship. Students must be Ontario residents and demonstrate financial need. The award will be renewed for year two students who maintain a minimum 'B' average. If a student does not meet these requirements, year two students will have an opportunity to apply for this award. The award section within the AEOI/HBA application considers candidates for all Ivey HBA Admission scholarships. There is not a separate award application for this scholarship. Ivey Admission ScholarshipScotiabank HBA 1 ScholarshipAwarded annually to full-time students entering the Honors Business Administration program at the Ivey Business School, who have an interest in pursing a career in the financial services industry in Canada or Latin America. The successful candidates must demonstrate that they held full time employment during the summer between years 1 and 2 of undergraduate university with a preference for students who held part-time employment during year 1 and/or year 2 of university. This award is made possible through the generosity of Scotiabank.$11000
Merit AwardsSellery Family HBA AwardAwarded annually to a full-time student in the Honors Business Administration Program at the Ivey Business School, who is a varsity student-athlete and graduated from a public high school. Preference will be given to a Canadian citizen. The HBA Scholarship Committee will make the final selection of the recipient. This award was established with a generous gift from Alan Sellery, HBA '87.$4000
