Manisha Burman

Manisha is a seasoned global CHRO with a proven track record of mobilizing high-performing teams to drive transformation across businesses and functions. She currently serves as Partner and CHRO for CI Financial and Corient, an ultra-high-net-worth wealth management firm with $650B+ in assets under management.
In her role, Manisha acts as a trusted advisor to the Board and C-suite, shaping business and people strategies while guiding corporate governance and citizenship initiatives. She has been instrumental in supporting the growth agenda for CI and Corient, successfully integrating 45+ global acquisitions, while leading a comprehensive transformation of the HR function.
Prior to joining CI, Manisha held senior HR, business, and strategy roles at leading global organizations including EY, GE, RBC, and BMO. At BMO, she served as CHRO for Capital Markets and Wealth International, Head of Talent Management, and Head of Client Experience and Workforce Effectiveness for 20,000+ client-facing professionals.
Manisha is an active member of several corporate and non-profit boards, co-chaired a record-breaking United Way Giving campaign, and served as an executive member of the Enterprise Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She has also contributed to numerous advisory boards and was recently recognized as a 2024 Top CHRO in the industry.
She holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Toronto, an undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario, and a Certificate in Business Management from the London School of Economics.
