
Jeff Coleman joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1999 in Oakville, ON as a high-school co-op student and deployed to the Former Yugoslavia as a NATO peacekeeper before earning his degree in Physics and Space Science from the Royal Military College of Canada. An Air Battle Manager by trade, he has served across NORAD, Afghanistan, and the Middle East, including as Deputy Commander of Air Task Force IMPACT in Kuwait.
He has held diverse leadership roles—ranging from Air Liaison Officer to Deputy Chief of Combat Operations—and later served as Deputy Director of Cadets at the Royal Military College of Canada, overseeing the leadership and development of more than a thousand officer cadets. Jeff now commands RCAF Barker College in Winnipeg, leading advanced training in Space, Electronic Warfare, and Air Operations, and spearheading the RCAF’s Character-Based Leadership model.
He holds a Master’s in Aeronautical Science, is pursuing a PhD in Physics, and lives in Winnipeg, where he plays rugby and enjoys SCUBA diving in places without winter.
