Growing up, I was always encouraged to think critically and find ways to address the issues I noticed around me. Over the past few years, this principle has guided me in both my academic and extracurricular involvements. As a political science student, I learned more about the intricacies of the world we live in and the ways in which individual action can make a difference on a large scale. Through my involvements with local political campaigns, starting a social entrepreneurial venture, and working for an international non-profit, I have exposed myself to various ways of prioritizing and implementing sustainability.
