Oana Branzei
Centre Director
Oana Branzei is the Paul MacPherson Chair in Strategic Leadership and Professor of Strategy and Sustainability at Ivey Business School. She is the founding Director of Ivey’s HBA Sustainability Certificate program and the Master of Science Graduate Diploma in Sustainability, and the founder and host of the PhD Sustainability Academy, an annual event of the Alliance for Research on Corporate Sustainability.
Oana heads a global Resilience lab whose rapid-response research teams tackle grand challenges on five continents. A Western Faculty Scholar and Ivey’s champion for the United Nations’ Principles for Responsible Management Education for a decade, she has pioneered the ESG and SDG case curations for Ivey Publishing. Since joining Ivey in 2007, she has taught across the HBA, MBA, MSc, EMBA and PhD programs and designed signature initiatives including the Social Innovation Forum and Ivey Impact Day.
Sadaf Taimur
Director, Strategic Partnership
Sadaf, Director of Strategic Partnerships – BSV, is a Sustainability Scientist with over ten years of experience spanning academia, international organizations, NGOs, and the private sector. Prior to joining Ivey, she was the Director of Sustainability & Circularity at Goodwill Industries, Ontario Great Lakes, where she developed strategies and programs to advance circularity and reduce environmental impacts. She has also worked as a Senior ESG Specialist at Mondetta and held postdoctoral research positions at McGill University and the University of Tokyo under the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) project.
