Cooper Robinson is committed to making sustainability profitable at scale. As a result of this commitment, Cooper has had deep involvement in many first-of-kind carbon projects in the energy sector, and built a business focused on scaling them (Cap-Op Energy, acquired in 2019). In particular, he has played an important role in establishing novel carbon monetization pathways for world class energy sector clients - focusing on highly scalable opportunities such as CCS/CCUS, oil & gas methane abatement, and refinery co-processing of bio-crude/bio-intermediates. Cooper is also a guest lecturer at the Haskayne School of Business / University of Calgary on topics ranging from the carbon economy to technical life cycle analysis of waste-to-energy and low carbon fuels pathways.
